Sister Cities Girlchoir is pleased to announce our 2nd Annual Martin Luther

King, Jr. Day  “Sing for Peace Tour” on Monday, January 19, 2015.

Over 50 middle school girls from Philadelphia and Camden will spend their King holiday singing song of hope and peace in service to their community. The girls will perform in three Center City locations—marching and singing between destinations. As a grand finale, the girls will head to Northeast Philadelphia to be joined by the El Sistema New Jersey Youth Orchestra.

The tour provides real world application of the Girlchoir’s mission to use music as a tool for empowering girls, uniting communities and inspiring dialogue and positive change.
